VANCOUVER, BC, May 1, 2025 – Meetingmax, the leading provider of event room block management software, today announced it has been selected as “2025 Reservation Platform of the Year” in the 3rd annual TravelTech Breakthrough Awards program conducted by TravelTech Breakthrough, a leading independent market intelligence organization that evaluates and recognizes standout travel technology companies, products and services around the globe.
Meetingmax simplifies the hotel booking process for event attendees and groups, helping to maximize contracted hotel room blocks. This offers control over room blocks and maintains a consistent reservation experience for attendees. Event planners can also generate new sources of revenue through service fees, tiered cancellations, penalties, display advertisements, rebates, and commissions.
Meetingmax provides an array of customized messaging to build a reservation site, helping both planners and guests know exactly what they need to do at every step of the booking process. The software also delivers up-to-date reporting on data like rooming lists, pace reports, and revenue tracking. Meetingmax’s sub-block functionality makes it simple to organize event attendees into unique groups and offers individual branding, customized communication, bulk changes, and various payment settings per group. One central link can be generated for all hotel options to be reviewed so guests can compare rates and book inside the block.
With Meetingmax, planners can create custom branding, including headers, background images, colors, sub-block branding, and email customizations. Embedded codes provide additional functionality, such as links, buttons, surveys, and more, as well as sponsorship branding and marketing collateral.
New enhancements to the platform include Hyperbook, which delivers a 68% increase in speed, enabling attendees to secure accommodations swiftly while also ensuring seamless performance during high-traffic event launches and accommodating concurrent users. Hyperbook also optimizes inventory allocation. In addition, the recent integration of Sabre’s Global Distribution System (GDS) into the Meetingmax platform allows reservations to automatically sync with Sabre GDS, subsequently updating a hotel’s CRS or PMS. The company has also introduced the Generative AI Hotel Builder, designed to optimize hotel profile management and enabling event organizers to create or update detailed hotel profiles. Lastly, Meetingmax has partnered with aRes Travel to provide event managers with innovative solutions to address last minute bookings even after contracted room blocks have closed.
“Our software was built by event planners and our clients consistently commend the platform’s user-friendly interface, robust features, and the tangible value it adds to their events. Understanding the complex needs of event housing underlies our dedication to delivering exceptional service and introducing advanced technologies,” said Jeff Duncan, President & CEO of Meetingmax. “This award from TravelTech Breakthrough is a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation in the reservation platform industry and our unwavering commitment to innovation, efficiency, and exceptional user experiences in event housing management.”
